TrainJatra brings today’s trains, their live status, and every station’s timetable into one place, in English and বাংলা.
What you can do
- See every train running today, with its departure and arrival times and how far along it is.
- Search by route (from one station to another) or by train name or number.
- Follow a train live: where it is, the next station, its speed, how late it is and when it should arrive.
- Open a stop-by-stop timeline with scheduled and expected times at each station.
- Browse every station by division, with all the trains that stop there.
- Use it in English or বাংলা, in a light or dark theme, with a 12-hour or 24-hour clock.
- No account, no sign-up and no advertising.
How live tracking works
Live positions come from passengers. In the Android app, someone on a train can choose to share their journey; their phone then reports the train’s location until they stop or get off. TrainJatra checks those reports against the railway route and against each other, and shows the result as the train’s position.
Sharing is always optional and anonymous to other users. When no passenger is sharing, TrainJatra shows the timetable and says clearly that there is no live data.
Independent and unofficial
TrainJatra is built and run independently. It is not an official Bangladesh Railway app or website, and it has no affiliation, partnership, sponsorship or any other relationship with Bangladesh Railway, the Ministry of Railways or any government body.
We do not sell or book tickets. Train and station names are used only to identify the public services the information is about. For tickets and official announcements, please use Bangladesh Railway’s own channels.
Where the information comes from
Timetables and station details are compiled from publicly available information, and railway lines and maps come from OpenStreetMap contributors. Live positions come from passengers, as described above. We work to keep everything accurate, but schedules change and estimates can be wrong, so please confirm important details with official sources.
